Device Training Options
LIBBE (Open System) Device
Open system colon hydrotherapy sessions are referred to as the Cadillac of colonics. This system uses the smallest colon tube of less than 1/4 inch in diameter for the hydration experience. Clients are able to get the tube in place within their body while preserving modesty, in private, or with the comfort of the trained professional by their side. Commonly, clients are fully capable of inserting the tube themselves. After insertion, the client covers themselves then invites the therapist to offer a variety of additional supports as part of the holistic health experience. Castor oil packs, foot reflexology, internal organ manipulation, belly rubs, guided meditation, and breathwork are accessible offerings during the session. Or, the client can be offered privacy and receive and release while being checked on every ten minutes. This option of privacy is only available with the open system sessions.
Purified, temperature-controlled water enters the body precisely, usually at a rate of a gentle trickle. The water and the contents of the colon are released from the body around the tiny tube into the colonic basin that acts as a toilet connected to the sewage plumbing. After a person's waste empties into the basin, the waste then goes through a clear view tube which allows the client to see the contents if they wish. The water goes into the body as gravity feeds the water through the tube into the person's colon. The water finds the path of least resistance or trickles out of the body around the tube when the body’s wisdom creates contraction for the contents to be evacuated. In the open system sessions, the body controls the ebbs and flows of the water. The therapist is there to offer guidance and support but is not in control of the water. The client is covered in both the open and closed system sessions throughout the session. There is no odor with the open system as a built-in ventilation system allows air and odor to pass through the pipes and exit through the facility's roof. There is no mess as a spray rinse, much like a bidet, allows the client to wash their bottom at any time and is always used after using the device.
Both the open and the closed systems of Alder Brooke Healing Arts are FDA-registered and approved devices. We use one-time use only disposable tubes to ensure safety and hygiene. Both colonic devices are considered to be the best way to exercise, shape, tone, cleanse, hydrate, and rejuvenate the bowel. Both open and closed systems are fabulous. People from many walks of life appreciate both the open and the closed colon hydrotherapy experiences.
Aqua Cleanse (Closed System) Device
The closed system is described as the queen of colonics. It is performed while the recipient is on a massage table under cozy sheets resting their bottom on a chuck pad. These fabulous sessions are intriguing as the waste leaves the body into the tube that is inserted into the body. The tube is 3/4 of diameter and is easily placed just 2 inches into the body while the recipient lays on their left side, known as the sims position. The therapist then holds the tube in place as the client returns to laying on their back in the supine position. Generally, the therapist is present the entire session from insertion to retraction during a closed system session. Outside of the body, there is an inflow tube for the purified water to flow directly into the recipient and a waste flow tube for the extra water and the colon contents to flow out of the body and into the sewage system. The closed system offers a viewing tube for the client to see the waste leaving their body if they choose to look. There is no odor as the waste goes into the tube, so no odor is in the air. There is no mess as the colon contents leave the body directly into the tube. With this system, the therapist is tableside of the client throughout the session and is responsible for controlling the rate in which the purified, temperature-controlled water flows into the recipient and when the client receives and releases. The therapist is in constant communication with the client. Castor oil packs, foot reflexology, internal organ manipulation, belly rubs, guided meditation, and breathwork are offered and are easy to access during the session.
We offer breaks for everyone to rest and recharge. Lunch breaks, usually 2 hours long, require students to leave the training facility, giving our instructors and staff a chance to take a break on-site. Nearby parks, the river, restaurants, and the River Road Recreation Center offer plenty of affordable options to enjoy during your break.
While we love little ones, we kindly ask that children or babies not attend scheduled lessons or training, except for required breastfeeding sessions. We're happy to make special arrangements for nursing and ensure regular break times are provided.
For Eugene trainings at the clinic, we kindly request that all student vehicles remain off the property at all times—no exceptions. Don't worry, there's plenty of parking available at Howard Elementary School and River Road Recreation Center. You'll also find bicycle parking with convenient bike poles at these locations.
